For the last few night I’ve been trying to stay up late enough and watch, The Late Late Show with Craig Ferguson. Why? Because he’s been in Paris all week 🙂

Perfumer Lubin has recreated Marie Antoinette’s fragrance of preference, according to Vogue. A blend of rose, jasmine and bergamot, the scent was created by Jean-Louis Fargeon, “originally conceived as an ode to her beloved Trianon gardens at Versailles.” The fragrance, called Black Jade, is being sold for $130 at New York’s Aedes de Venustas and online at aedes.com.
I’ll have to find out where this place is so I can get a whiff 😉
Correction, its cost is now $160!
I can dream that I’m one of the Great Ones 🙂
During the Bastille Day Festival I was introduced to some delicious raspberry tart pastries from Financier Patisserie I ordered 4 because they were so gooood 🙂
Now I found out that the well known Parisian Shop and Cafe, Laduree, will open up a store in NYC located @ 864 Madison Avenue. Their website does not say when the Grand Opening will be 😦 all I know it’s either in July or August. But regardless I will be venturing there for some macarons :).
Tomorrow is Bastille Day and the question is, What to cook? Allrecipes.com has put together Bastille Day recipes for us to get in the kitchen and cook.
